LABIC's Fireside Chat Series is back! Join us at our first Fireside Chat of 2018 featuring Anna Barber, Managing Director of the Techstars LA Accelerator, and Sky Kelley, CEO & Founder of Avisare.
The Fireside Chat Series features different speakers who will lead a discussion on various issues and topics of interest to entrepreneurs, from venture capital and fundraising to investing and marketing.
Techstars LA focuses on investing in LA area companies in media, entertainment, e-commerce, marketplaces, enterprise SAAS, edtech, cleantech and aerospace. They are particularly interested in diverse founding teams.

Sky Kelley, an entrepreneur, experienced executive, and strategic consultant is Founder & CEO of Avisare, a company she began out of a desire to eradicate wealth and income inequality along racial and gender lines. Having assisted in the deal negotiations of more than $20 Billion for three different Fortune 100 companies, Sky brings a results driven approach to her consulting practice as well as to her technology company, Avisare.com.

Tulani is the founder of Scoop, and a runner-up in LABIC's first Black Business Pitch competition! Scoop is a tech startup, that 'scoops' up peoples unwanted items, and resales and donates them on their behalf so that they can save time and give back. Scoop helps to close the loop “between the haves and the have-nots” while educating people on sustainable fashion and keeping clothes and other textiles out of landfills.
